Joann C. Witvoet nee Smit, age 77, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 30, 2008. She is survived by her husband John B. Witvoet: One son: Boyd Bud (late Ellen) Witvoet of Thornton, IL; Two daughters: Beverly Witvoet of Lansing, IL and Judy (Jerry) DeVries of Surprise, AZ; Seven grandchildren: Robert (Megan) Witvoet, Amanda (Will) McMahan, Wayne Jr., Kristina and Jonathan Douma, Jacob and Josiah DeVries; One great-grandson: Drew Witvoet; One brother: Alvin (Helen) Smit; One sister: Barb (John) Laninga; several nieces and nephews.
