John Jay Amptmeyer, age 83, of South Holland, IL passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010. He is survived by his wife Lois Amptmeyer, nee Dykstra; one daughter: Bonnie (Timothy Sr.) Poortenga; three grandchildren: Timothy Jr., Kristy and Kelly; and one brother: Kenneth (Carol) Amptmeyer. Jay was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
