John J. Cantu, age 59, of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully, June 29, 2017. Beloved son of the late Benjamin and Aurora Cantu; loving father of Celina N. Cantu; dearest brother of Jose (Mary) Cantu, Benjamin Jr. (Mary Lou) Cantu, Delia (the late James) Gayton, Gloria DeCenzo, Ophelia (Sam) Briones and the late Beatrice (George) Victory; adoring uncle of many nieces and nephews; cherished friend of John and Trish Ott.
