John A. Cosgrove, Jr., age 50, of Whiting, IN, passed away Sunday, September 21 2014. John leaves his children Victor, Luke, and Eli; his mother, Donna Wands, and his stepfather, William Wands. He is also survived by his brother: Michael (Karen) Cosgrove; two sisters: Beth (Ray) Pifer and Dee (Ron) Schaaf; step-sisters: Laura Wands, Wendy (Larry) Ollearis and Kathe Kalmansohn. He was preceded in death by his father John A. Cosgrove, Sr. Visitation Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral service at 5:00 P.M. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN 46311. John attended school in Wayland, MI and worked as an electrician at Electricians IBEW 697 for 23 years. Memorial contributions may be given to the family of John A.
