John T Deyoung

John T. DeYoung, age 93, formerly of South Holland, IL passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. He is survived by his wife Ruth DeYoung (nee Olthoff); one son: Thomas (Karen) DeYoung; two daughters: Beverly (Richard) Van Dop and Roberta DeYoung (Michael Perry); 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren and one sister: Viola Fleck. He was preceded in death by three brothers and seven sisters. Funeral Service, Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St.(Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL, with services conducted by Mr. Richard Van Dop. Private Inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery - Elwood, IL. Memorial Contributions may be given to Calvin Christian School or Illiana Christian High School. Mr. DeYoung was a retired heavy equipment operator and a maintenance person for Rest Haven South Nursing Home.
