John Durish, 91 of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully, March 21, 2014. Beloved husband of Mary Durish nee Langreder. Loving father of Alan Durish, Beverly (Frank) Lucko and Steven Durish. Cherished grandfather of ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Dear brother of Mary Thompson. John was preceded in death by a brother Frank Durish and sisters Irene Ruder and Marge Durish. Visitation Friday March 28, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service 11:30 a.m. at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Road Steger, IL 60475. John was WWII Army Veteran and Bronze Star recipient. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery - Elwood, IL.
