John H. Jackson Jr.

John H. “JJ” Jackson Jr., age 65, of Sauk Village, IL, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021.  Beloved husband of Joyce Jackson, nee Palhegyi.  Loving father of Sarah Castagna, Emily Jackson, and Joanne Wagner.  Devoted grandfather of Paige, Logan, Andrea, Mason, Isaiah, Johnny, Lilliana, and Javy;  great-grandfather of Mateo.  Dear brother of Joe Jackson, Dawn Jackson, Verona Husack, Robert Wagner, Sherry Wagner and the late Paula Daniels.  Also survived by many loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents John Jackson Sr. and Joanne Wagner.  He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Friday, October 29, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the family are greatly appreciated.
