Jarvey: John E. Jarvey, age 54, of Steger, IL passed away on October 4, 2008. John is survived by his wife Linda I. Jeffers-Jarvey, a son Jeremiah Jarvey and a daughter Lynn Marie Aleman and two grandchildren: Brett & Joshua. He is also survived by two brothers Charles Lindquist and Frederick Don Jarvey and three sisters Carol (Mac) McGeorge, Martha (Richard) Gay and Katie Nelson, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL on Thursday Oct. 9th from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Friday Oct. 10th at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Steger.
