John B. Krygsheld , age 83, of Dyer, IN, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 23, 2018. Beloved husband of Karen Krygsheld, nee Bandstra. Devoted father of Jeff (late Darcy) Krygsheld, Jack (Valerie) Krygsheld, Tim (Sheila) Krygsheld, Dan (Beulah) Krygsheld and the late Thomas Krygsheld. Proud grandfather of nine. Loving brother of Elsie (Dick) Macari, Swanette Treim, William (Trudy) Krygsheld, Clarence (Faye) Krygsheld, Cyndi Krygsheld, the late Thomas Krygsheld and the late Burt Krygsheld. Loving brother-in-law of Ken Bandstra, Christine (Randy) Commeret, late Tom (Becky) Bandstra and the late Ted (Florence) Bandstra.

Visitation Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home – 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. Funeral service Monday, August 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Glen United Reformed Church – 2244 Indiana Ave. Lansing, IL with Rev. Paul Ipema officiating.
