John P. LaRock Sr, age 82, of Sauk Village, Illinois, passed away December 26, 2013. Beloved husband of Martha LaRock nee Monier. Loving father of Kathleen (Chuck) Bennet, Jackie, John Jr. (Sandra), Vince (Deborah), late Bridget Ruiz and Steve (Lori) LaRock. Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren. Memorial visitation Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of memorial service 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Road Steger, IL 60475. Private interment.
