John R. "Rudy" Freimuth, age 89, late of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 23, 2018. Loving husband of Patricia Freimuth, nee Coleman. Devoted father of Joan (Tom) Barratt, Cathy (Joe) Pratl, Don Freimuth, and Matt (Shari) Freimuth. Proud grandfather of 7; great-grandfather of 7. Dear brother of the late Rose Kral.

Visitation Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 1:30 p.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, South Holland, IL.

Inurnment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery - Elwood, IL, at a later date.
