John M. Stack, age 81, of Steger, Illinois passed away peacefully December 3, 2014. Beloved husband of Thelma Stack nee Martin. Loving father of Brian (Robin) Stack, Cheryl (Glenn) Bushey, JoAnn (Dennis) Laurent, Kevin Stack, Dale Stack, Richard Stack, SueAnn (Michel) Petiot and Robert Stack. Cherished grandfather of twelve; great-grandfather of fourteen. Preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Visitation Monday, December 8, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral sevice 12:30 P.M. at the Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL 60475. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery - Elwood, IL. John served 21 years in the US Air Force.
