Cherished grandfather of Riahna, Jessica, Lauren and Melany Stearns. Dear brother of Robert (Barbara) Stearns. Visitation Monday, April 14, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service 11:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Road Steger, IL 60475. Interment at Skyline Memorial Park - Monee, IL. John retired from the Steger Public Works as a Foreman after over 25 years of service.
