John J. Sullivan, age 75, of Dyer, IN, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Beloved husband of Diane M. Sullivan, nee Clifford. Devoted father of Kelly (Ray) Hooper, Jenny (Brian) Suchecki, and John Sullivan. Proud grandfather of Lauren Farmer, Averi and Hadley Sullivan, Kyle and Alex Suchecki. Dear brother of Thomas (Cathy), late Walter (Nancy), and late Terry Sullivan. Kind uncle of many nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents Donald and Marie Sullivan. Visitation Friday, July 11, 2014 from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. Prayer service Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN 46311 to St. Maria Goretti Church (500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN 46311) for a 12:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Charles Niblick officiating. Inurnment at Quinnesec Cemetery - Quinnesec, MI at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105) appreciated.
