John A. Widmer, age 94, of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2015. Beloved husband of Gertrude Widmer, nee Ooms. Loving father of Shirley (John) Wojtczak, John (JoAnn) Widmer Jr., and Wayne (Mary) Widmer. Devoted grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. II Army Veteran, a member of the V.F.W. South Holland post #9964, a Past Grand Master of the Evergreen Park Masonic Lodge #1171 A.F. & A.M., and a member of the Shriners.
