John Zawita

John Zawita, age 92, of South Chicago Heights, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2019. Beloved husband of 63 years to Sylvia Zawita nee Calamari. Loving father of Kenneth (Linda) Zawita and Cindi (Max) Eaton. Cherished grandfather of Jonathan Eaton, Heather Eaton, and Jason Mahler. Dear brother-in-law of Dolores Calamari. Kind uncle to many nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents; John and Mary Zawita, and three brothers and seven sisters. John was a retired Plumber, a proud United States Air Force Veteran, and an avid Chicago Cubs fan. John will be dearly missed by many.
