John L. Zimmerman

John L. Zimmerman, age 72, of Steger, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2020.  Beloved father of Ashley Zimmerman, Tobias Zimmerman, Carlton Zimmerman, and Olivia Zimmerman.  Cherished grandfather of Aaryan Grison, Arya Grison, and Abel Zimmerman.  Dear brother of Karleen Kummerer.  Preceded in death by parents; Eugene and Beatrice Zimmerman.  John retired from McHugh Corporation as a Technical Engineer.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, IL.  A private interment will take place at Mt.
