Jose Cantu age 83 of Steger, IL passed away peacefully at home on July 15, 2023. Beloved husband of Mary L. Cantu, nee Valle. Loving father of Jose Jr. (Christine) Cantu, Sylvia (Douglas) Downing, late Vincent Ray Cantu and the late Sonia Theresa Cantu. Cherished grandfather of Cecilia R. Cantu, Joseph R. Cantu, Gabriella E. Cantu and Anastacia S. Downing. Dear brother of Benjamin (Mary Lou) Cantu, Delia (late James) Gayton, late John Cantu, late Beatrice Victory and late Gloria DiCenzo. Dear son of the late Benjamin and late Aurora Cantu. Jose was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Funeral Mass Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Liborius Catholic Church 35th. St. & Halsted Blvd. Steger, IL.
