Joseph C. Arsenault, age 92, of Dyer, IN, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016. Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Liz" Arsenault nee Keeton. Loving father of the late Freda (Vern) Knight, Deborah Arsenault, Kym (Karla) Arsenault and Rodney (Laura) Arsenault. Proud grandfather of three; great grandfather of one. Dear brother, uncle and cousin to many extended family members in Canada. Visitation Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN. Funeral service Monday, January 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at First Christian Church (704 Joliet St. Dyer, IN) with services conducted by Rev. Randy Payne. Interment Calumet Park Cemetery - Merrillville, IN. Joseph was a member of Griffith Mason Lodge #735 Free and Accepted Masons and amember of Pipe Fitters Union Local #597. Memorial contributions may be given to First Christian Church.
