Joseph M. Bender

Joseph M. Bender, age 59, of Lowell, IN, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 20, 2023.  Loving husband of Gina Suzanne Bender, nee Rife. Devoted father of Allison Suzanne, Anna Joy, and Jacob Joseph Bender.  Dearest son of the late Jacqueline Bender and late George Bender.  Dear brother of Thomas (Patricia) Bender, Gary (Terry) Bender, Judith (Antonio) Sanchez, Daniel, Donald, Diann, and the late David, Ronald, and Jo Ann Bender.  Kind son-in-law of Brenda and the late Clayton Rife.  Kind uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Joe was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Friday, December 22, 2023 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN, with Pastor Jared Mehrle officiating.
