Rev. Dr. Joseph A. Brinks , Sr., age 72, of St. John, IN, went home to his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Beloved husband of Linda Brinks, nee Krol.  Loving father of Joseph Brinks, Jr., Dr. Pamela (Rev. Andrew) Compton, Rev. Dr. Christina (Dr. Michael) Brinks Rea, John (Mary) Brinks, and James (Anna) Brinks.  Proud grandfather of fifteen. Dear brother of Gordon (Judy) Brinks, Paul (Leah) Brinks, Ellen (William) Stroo, Sharon Brinks, Calvin (Marcia) Brinks, and Joyce (Robert) Cornelisse. Brother-in-law of Marlene (Robert) Vander Veen, the late Harold (Vonda (Dave)) Krol VanBeek, and Deborah (Lary) Doezema. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Helen Brinks.

Andrew Compton officiating.
