Joseph H. Panny, age 94, of South Holland, IL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Marian Panny, nee Hellmann; three children: David Panny, Michael (Lanis) Panny, and Joanne (Rick) Besich; three grandchildren: Alex, Diane, and Chad; and one sister: Wilma. Preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Rose Panny and one sister: Theresa Naparla. Joseph was born in Gloggnitz, Austria and came here when he was 13. Joseph was a World War II Marine Corp Veteran. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor Degree of Science in Mechanical and Civil Engineering. Joe loved golf and gardening.
