Joseph R. Remkus , age 89, of South Holland, IL, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Mary T. Remkus, nee O’Connor. Loving father of Joseph M. Remkus, Robert C. Remkus, Joanne M. (David) Smith and Julie A. (Steven) Smith. Proud grandfather of Elizabeth (Christopher) Ruderschmidt, Victoria (Robert) McMahon, Suzanne Smith and Michael Smith. Preceded in death by his parents George and Helen Remkus, and by many siblings.
