Joseph Sadowski, 93, of Crete, Illinois passed away peacefully May 8, 2016. Beloved husband of Amelia Sadowski nee Surma. Loving father of Jerome (Georgian), Barbara (Anthony) Eppolito and Thomas (fianceé Clevonne Jeka) Sadowski. Cherished grandfather of Sonja (John), Julia (David), Beth (Adam), Brian (fiancée Sarah), Lauren, Matthew and Ryan. Cherished great grandfather of Pippa, Philip and Hunter. He was preceded in death by six sisters and one brother. Joseph was a WWII Army Veteran serving with the 13th Armored Division. Joseph was the founder of Plaza Hardware in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago.
