Joszef Postma, age 81, of Chesterton, IN, went home to his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Beloved husband of 55 years to Anna Postma, nee DeYoung. Loving father of Phillip (Ruth) Postma, David Postma, Daniel (Nicole) Postma, and Steve (Amanda) Postma. Cherished grandfather of Madison, Brianna, late Hope, Joanna, Nicole, Isabella, Kaitlynn, Jessica, Olivia, Joszef, and Izaak. Great-grandfather of Mackenzie, Harley, and Phenix. Dear brother of Baukje, Hinke, and Jacob Postma. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Otte and Jitske Postma, and his siblings Gaele, Tjettje, Doetje, Melle, Douwe, and Germ.
Memorial service Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. directly at Protestant Reformed Church of Crete, 777 East Richton Road, Crete, IL. Memorial gathering to take place following the service at church.
