Joyce Louise Haan

Joyce Louise Haan, nee Moritz, age 84, of Grand Rapids, MI formerly of Lansing, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Frederick “Fred” L. Haan.  Loving mother of  Fred L. (Julie) Haan Jr., Carl Haan (Joe Harper) and David E. (Jennifer) Haan. Cherished grandmother of seven. Dear sister of the late Alfred (late LaVerne) Moritz and Charles (Marcia) Moritz. Preceded in death by her step father Carl Dunham and her mother Vivian Dunham. Joyce was loved and will be missed by her family.

A memorial visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Jim Oord officiating. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be given to The Bible League ( www.bibleleague.org ).
