Joyce A. Rich, age 69, of Crete, IL passed away on October 14, 2008. Beloved wife of James Rich. Loving mother of William (Mary) Berendt, Julie (Roy) Stone, Jim (Trish) Rich, Janice Braun, and John Rich. Cherished grandmother Katie, Shelly, Ryan, Brittany, Andrew, Emma, Lilly, Jimmy, Jasper, Carl Jr., Zane and great-grandmother of Camrin. Visitation will be held at the Smits Funeral Homes - Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL.) on Thursday Oct. 16th from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be Friday Oct. 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Steger. with visitation from 10:00 " 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment at Homewood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Homewood. Mrs. Rich was a Avon Representative for over 25 years and a former Real Estate Agent.
