Juan Salazar, age 86, of Steger, IL, passed away peacefully March 16, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Rosario M. Salazar nee Elizalde. Devoted father of John (Lydia) Salazar, Denise (Chuck) Walther, Kathleen Salazar, Jeannette (Jeff) Braxdale and Armando Salazar. Cherished grandfather of Michael Salazar, Victoria Salazar, Lauren Walther, Jessie Walther, Sydney (Noelle) Walther. Dear brother of Frank (Elia) Salazar, late Art Salazar, late Al Salazar, and the late Alicia Saldivar. Loving son of the late Francisco and Leonor Salazar.
