Julia L. DeYoung, nee Terpstra, age 65, of Beecher, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Loving wife of Alan J. DeYoung. Devoted mother of Amanda DeYoung. Dearest sister of Dave (Vicki) Terpstra and Kathy (Ronald) Spengler; step-sister of Sally (Dan) Degoey and Judy (Tony) Rivera. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Darryl Terpstra and Nancy T. Tysse. Dear step-daughter of Carolyn Terpstra.
Memorial visitation Friday, September 20, 2024 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a celebration of life service to be held at 6:30 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN, with Deacon Glenn DeYoung officiating.
