Julia M. Stein

Julia M. Stein, nee Tallarico, age 82, of Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Julia was born January 27, 1939 in Chicago and was a resident of Chicago Heights for 60 years.

She was a loving wife to the late Roland Frederick Stein for 36 years. They were married on June 23 ^rd , 1962. Julia was a mother of two children, Josephine M. (Clell) Miller and Pamela A. Krencik. Julia was an aunt and cousin to many. She was a cherished grandmother to Brandy A. Odell, Bridget A. Johnson-Whitefield (Marshall H. Whitfield), Jeremy Johnson, and Crystal M. (Robert A.)  Smith. Julia was also a dear great-grandmother to Bethany J., Courtney O., Cameron O., Briana J., Cody S., and Carson S. Daughter of the late Anthony Guiseppi Tallarico and the late Julia Marie Tallarico. Also raised by the late Sarah Gigante and her late step-mother Josephine Marie Dallasandro-Tallarico. Older sister of Dominic V. (Jeanne) Tallarico and John L. (late Betty) Tallarico. Julia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation to be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel – 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL.
