June J. McLaughlin, nee Special, age 92 of Dolton, IL, passed away peacefully at home on May 31, 2017. Beloved wife of the late James T. McLaughlin, Sr. Loving mother of James T. (Cheryl) McLaughlin, Jr., Patrick (Kimberlee) McLaughlin, the late Dennis (Laura) McLaughlin, William (Stacy) McLaughlin, and Barbara (Jack) Jensen. Devoted grandmother of Kurt (Amanda) McLaughlin, Jim (Gina) McLaughlin, Matt (Katie) McLaughlin, Christopher (Kari) Jensen, Sarah (Dustin) Oltman, Elizabeth McLaughlin and Alyssa McLaughlin. Cherished great-grandmother of John, James, Will, Daniel, Colin, Liam, Jackson, and Sullivan. Dear sister of Delores, the late Mickey, Rose, William, and Patsy. Kind aunt to several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Al and Josephine Special. Visitation Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 8:00 – 10:00 A.M. directly at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, 14424 S. Wentworth Ave., Riverdale, IL. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery – Alsip, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
