June Osborne, nee Koster, age 91 of St. John, IN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Herman C. Osborne. Loving mother of Jeffrey (Terri) Zeilenga, Janice Huisenga, Jeff Ladwig, Sherrie Osborne, Linda (Charles) Cooper, Glenn (Grace) Osborne, and Brook (Elizabeth) Osborne. Proud grandmother of Christopher (CJ) (Stephanie), Chase (Ashley), Calli Zeilenga, Jamie (Brian) Capua, Jesse Huisenga, and Jeremy (Kayla) Huisenga. Great grandmother to Ian, Evelyn, Josephine Zeilenga, and Owen Capua. Dear sister of Don (Betty) Koster, Candace (Joe) Stegenga-Fry (late Bill Stegenga). Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Alice (Gouwens) Koster and her brother-in-law Bill Stegenga. Known for her spirit of adventure, love of travel, and lifetime dedication to teaching, June brought warmth and love into the lives of everyone who knew her.

Visitation Tuesday, August 25, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN.
