Karen Lyn Howell, nee Bellinghausen, age 66, late of Schererville, IN, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 24, 2017. Beloved wife of Thom D. Howell. Loving mom of Tanya Sheely, Brian Norris, Tiffany (John) Blosky, and the late Shaun Norris. Cherished nana of seven. Dearest sister of four. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Victor and Mary Bellinghausen. Visitation Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane ( Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN. Lying in state Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. directly at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery – Schererville, IN.
