Karen Marie Hussey

Karen Marie Hussey, age 66, of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Beloved wife of Mitchell Hussey. Loving mother of Michael Patrick Hussey and Kelly Marie (Jeffery) Brook. Cherished grandmother of Morgan, Ashlinn, Lillian, Micah, Hazel and Elvira. Dear sister of Diane (Mark) Huizenga, Janet (late John) Leahy, Wayne (Missy) Glatt and Allen (Marilyn) Glatt. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. She retired from the Steger-South Chicago Heights Public Library after over 20 years of service. Karen will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation to be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m.  at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd Steger, IL 60475. Funeral to be held Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens – Crown Point, IN.
