Karen N. Krygsheld

Karen N. Krygsheld, nee Bandstra, age 82, of Dyer, IN, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Beloved wife of the late John B. Krygsheld.  Loving mother of Jeff (late Darcy) Krygsheld, Jack (Valerie) Krygsheld, Tim (Sheila) Krygsheld, Dan (Beaulah) Krygsheld and the late Thomas Krygsheld. Proud grandmother of eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Tom (Becky) Bandstra, the late Ted (Florence) Bandstra, Ken Bandstra, and Christine (Randy) Commeret.  Karen was loved by many and will be missed.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Smits Funeral Home – 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Glen United Reformed Church – 2244 Indiana Ave. Lansing, IL with Rev. Ed Marcusse officiating. Interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to the Tom Krygsheld Scholarship Fund at Trinity Christian College.
