Karen A. Whitehead age 55 of Glenwood, IL, passed away on July 5, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. Karen is survived by her loving husband Phillip, her cherished children Phillip Jr, Erik (Kristen) Whitehead, Laurie (Clint) Coleman, Adrianna, Brittany and Karianne Whitehead. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 2 Brothers James and Patrick Rogers. Visitation for Karen will be held at the Smits Funeral Homes- Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 3:00 til 8:00 P.M. A funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at St. Kierans Church 724 W. 195th St. Chicago Heights, IL at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be at Assumption Cemetery Glenwood, IL.
