Kathleen S. Stark, age 59, late of Lansing, IL, passed away Monday, September 24, 2007. Kathleen is survived by her husband William Stark; Mother-in-law: Josephine Stark; Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law: Robert and Christine Stark; Sister-in-law: Linda MacDonald; Nephews and nieces: Robert and Georgina Stark, Ann and Lou Massignani, Jeffrey and Kim MacDonald, Scott and Ann MacDonald; Great-nieces and nephews: Sophia and Vincent Massignani, Ewan Stark, Lotus MacDonald, Katelynn MacDonald; Scottish cousins: Eva, Jimmy, and Thomas Wilson, and many other Scottish and U.S. cousins. She is predeceased by her brother Ronald R. MacDonald; parents: John and Jeanie MacDonald and father-in-law: Henry Stark. Kathie graduated with High Scholastic Honors from Northern Illinois University and received her M. Ed. From Chicago State. Kathie was a dedicated teacher for 33 years in Elementary School District 150 in South Holland, IL. She received from the Illinois State Board of Education, Those who excel award of special recognition 2002-2003. She was President and a beloved member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society Internationals Beta Beta Chapter. Visitation Friday, September 28, 2007 from 2:00 till 9:00 P.M. Funeral Service Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL with services conducted by Rev. Michael Udoekong. Cremation rites accorded at Oakland Memory Lanes Cemetery - Dolton, IL.
