Kathy Jean Green, age 50, of Crete, IL passed away February 24, 2010. Beloved mother of Brian Green, loving daughter of Stanley and Mona Green. Dear sister of Diane (Kevin Shalkiewicz) Green, Pamela (Jim) Kowalski, and Susan (Jim) Corbett. Cherished aunt of Emily, Michael, Hayley and Thomas. Visitation Saturday February 27th from 2:00 " 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL.). Funeral Service Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment private. Kathy graduated from Rich East class of 1977. She went on to receive her cosmetology license from Doree Beauty School.
