Kendall J. Hutchinson, age 72, of St. John, IN, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014. Beloved husband of Karen Hutchinson (nee Rost). Loving father of Bret Hutchinson, Stacy (Adam) Thompson, and Scott Hutchinson. Proud grandfather of Jack, Kate, and Charlie Thompson. Dear brother of Cheryl (Bob) Bruozas. Visitation Friday, June 27, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN 46311. Mr. Hutchinson was a long time teacher and baseball coach at various high schools in the area, including Carver, Thornwood and Lockport.
