Kenneth O. Bader, age 75, late of South Holland, IL. Passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009 at his residence. Husband of the late Luella A. Bader nee Kocher. Devoted father of Scott (Julie), Mark (Kristen) and Kent Bader (Lori Stasulas). Proud grandfather of Michael, James and Jennifer; brother of the late Mildred and the late Sharon; brother-in-law of Wes(Barb) Kocher; uncle to nephews and nieces and friend to many. Visitation Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:30p.m. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt. 6/159th St.) South Holland, IL. Mr. Bader was born on October 25, 1933 in Linton, ND. He married Luella on July 6, 1956 in Linton, ND and moved to Chicago with his wife. Shortly thereafter, they moved to South Holland. Kenneth was a Korean War Navy Veteran, coached Little League in South Holland for many years, was an assistant Scout Master for Troop 939, enjoyed camping and had a passion for Walleye fishing.
