Kenneth Earl Benedict

Kenneth Earl Benedict, age 61, of Lynwood, IL, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 11, 2023. Survived by his former wife and mother to his three children, Laura Benedict. Devoted father of Bradley (Jessica) Benedict, Daniel (fiancée Jamie Mikrut) Benedict, and Sarah (fiancé Michael Sandoval) Benedict. Loving son of Robert and the late Dolores Benedict. Proud grandfather of Liam Benedict. Dear brother of Thomas (Debra) Benedict. Kenneth was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

Memorial visitation Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN.  A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Brian Kamstra officiating.  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society ( https://www.cancer.org/ ).
