Kenneth J Fasel, age 79 of Crete, Illinois, passed away peacefully, October 4, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Joan L. Fasel nee Klaus. Loving father of Kenny Fasel, Jim (Sue) Fasel, Jeff Fasel, Rudy Fasel and the late Bob (Pam) Fasel. Cherished grandfather of seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Dear brother of Phyllis, Elliott and David, preceded by siblings; Marie, Jeanette, Esther, Lorraine, Edward and Ralph. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Kenneth was a proud veteran of the US Army. Visitation Monday October 10, 2016 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Road Steger, IL 60475.
