Kenneth M. Harrison, age 72, of Highland, IN, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017. Beloved husband of 50 years of Barbara Harrison, nee Beanblossom. Devoted father of Doug Harrison and Mark (Amanda) Harrison. Proud grandfather of Samantha, Paige, Piper, and Faith. Loving brother of Debbie (Dan) Moser. Preceded in death by brother Wayne Harrison. Visitation Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN 46311. Funeral Service Friday, January 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home with Pastor Don Rector officiating. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens -Schererville, IN. Mr. Harrison attended Suburban Bible Church, and was a retired electrician from IBEW Local 697. He was a U.S. Army Veteran (Berlin Brigade), a member of the Highland VFW, and a member of Garfield Masonic Lodge (#569 F & AM Highland, IN) where a memorial service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Konnie Kuiper and Kevin Nordyke.
