Kenneth J. Johnston, age 97, of Steger, IL, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022. Beloved husband of Diane M. Johnston, nee Kokas. Loving father of Pamela (Jerry) Zurek and the late Kerry (Alice) Johnston. Dear brother of Jack (late Merc) Johnston, the late Orval Johnston Jr., and the late Annabelle Grimm. Survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Kenneth was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, serving during WWII, and was a recipient of a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was loved by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
