Kenneth L. Kampenga

Kenneth L. Kampenga, age 80, of Lynwood, IL, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 30, 2017. Beloved husband of Joyce C Kampenga, nee Tillema. Proud father of Donna (Bob) Harvey, Mark (Brenda) Kampenga, Rodger (Susan) Kampenga, Bridget Hillyard, and William Kampenga. Loving grandfather of Tim, Stacy, Matthew, Elaine, Kevin, Nathan, Lisa, and Joseph; great-grandfather of Tori and Becki. Dear brother of the late Ruthann (late Dale) Bult, Arlene (Harold) Bult, Allen Kampenga, and Margaret Lee. Preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Alice Kampenga. Visitation Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30&Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN 46311, with Rev. Gordon P. Broadbent III officiating. Private interment Holland Cemetery – DeMotte, IN.
