Kenneth L. Minkema age 66, of Sauk Village, IL. passed away October 10, 2008. Loving father of Keri (John Giovanni) Pacelli, Jennifer and Megan Minkema. Cherished grandfather of Brianna, Jenna, and Mikayla. Dear friend of Vicki Fisher. Dearest brother of Robert (Eleanor) Minkema. Dear Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday October 14th from 3:00 " 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL.) Funeral Service Wednesday 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Mr. Minkema was a U.S. Army Veteran, member of the Chicago Heights American Legion Post 131 and the Carpenters Union Local 272.
