Laura Jean Gouwens, age 67, of Rolling Meadows passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018. Loving sister of Rev. David (Rev. Sharon) Gouwens, Lee (Mary) Gouwens, and Kay (Peter Maassen) Gouwens. Cherished aunt of Sarah, Thomas, and Kenneth; and Lillian. Preceded in death by her loving parents Paul Robert and Ruth Dena (Verduin) Gouwens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Clearbrook Center, 3201 Campbell St. Rolling Meadows, IL 60008.

A brief public Committal Service will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lansing, Illinois followed by a luncheon reception.
