Laura L. White, nee Mink, age 55, of Lansing, IL went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Beloved and faithful wife of Jeff White. Loving mother of Kasie(Travis) DeYoung, D.J. (Lydia) White, and Jesse White. Dear sister of Debbie Mink, Daniel (Diane)Mink, and David (Stacy) Mink. Devoted daughter-in-law of Ken and Bev White, and sister-in-law of Rachel (Mike) DeVries, Dale (Karen) Huizenga, and the late Brenda Huizenga. Cherished aunt of several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Jack and Diana Mink.

Laura was an avid camper, loved all of God’s Creatures (especially dogs and blue birds). Her church family was very important to her where she served as a GEMS craft leader and M.O.P.S mom. Her work family and her second church family (Community Roselawn) were dear to her heart. Laura’s love for her Lord was unwavering- she found great joy in reading books about Biblical times, always seeking to deepen her understanding of the faith she held so dearly. To know her was to witness a life beautifully intertwined with her faith- not merely part of her existence, but the very foundation upon which she lived her days.

A time of personal viewing and paying respects will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 1:30 – 2:45 p.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Glenwood-Lansing Rd., Lansing, IL. The family will join all who choose to remain for the celebration of life service which will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Jeff White officiating.

A burial and committal service will take place on Monday at 10:30 am at Oak Ridge Cemetery-Lansing, IL. For those wishing to attend this service, please join the family at Bethel Christian Reformed Church at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Illiana Christian High School (illianachristian.org).
