Laurie Lynn Fuentes

Laurie Lynn Fuentes (née Calabrese), age 59, of South Chicago Heights, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

Beloved wife of Daniel Fuentes. Loving mother of Anthony Calabrese and Timothy Kvasnicka. Cherished grandmother of Eliana, Caroline, and Timothy Kvasnicka. Dear sister of Deana (Jim) Michaels, Cathy (John) Chiarelli, and Julie Calabrese. Sweet aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia and Richard Calabrese.

Laurie had a passion for rescuing animals. She loved her fur babies, sunny summers, and music, and she had a special gift for befriending anyone who crossed her path. Laurie dedicated more than 25 years of service to Metra Railroad. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
