LaVerne Van Zyl, nee Kneubel, of Crete formerly of Lansing, IL, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 24, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Herman J. Van Zyl. Devoted mother of John (Dorothy), Jim (Kathy), Glenn (Connie) Van Zyl, and Gloria (Gene) Van Den Bosch. Proud grandmother of Darla (Harry), David (Pam), Kim (Galen), Kristin (Mike), Patrick (Heather), Derrick (Teena), Erin (Mike), Robyn (Kevin), Megan, and Krista; great-grandmother of Harrison (Sara), Danielle (Doug), Becca, Kassandra, Samantha (Joshua), Joshua, Morgan, Bethany, Kylie, Mackenzie, Cambrie, Gabe, Megan, Caleb, Mariah, Zoe, Delia, Oliver, Huck, Linus, Jackson, Sophia, Juliana, Weston, Aden, Beck, Faith, Benjamin, Hope, and Joy; great-great-grandmother of Josiah.
